FAQs

    • Your booking starts from the time you book, not at the time of arrival.

    • Be considerate to other clients. Overtime fees apply if you go over your booking time. Plan your studio time, loading, unloading, setting up and unloading and checking out are part of your booking.

    • Control noise level, please be considerate of our neighbours

    • Smoking or vaping is not permitted on the premises.

    • Alcohol, confetti, glitter, popping champagne and fake tan are not permitted on the premises.

    • Open flames, including candles, are not permitted in the studio without prior approval from a team member.

    • When moving furniture please do not drag. Move furniture with 2 or more people picking it up.

    • Please return all furniture and props to their original position before leaving.

    • Please do not use body oil, body sprays or self-tans that can stain the furniture.

    • Overtime fees apply if you require extra time to move things, load/unload. Please book appropriately to avoid any extra charges.

  • Parking is your responsibility.

    Canning Town studio: Paid parking is available on Caxton Street North (PayByPhone location number 59732) and Peto Street North (PayByPhone location number 59738) before reaching WallBrook Gardens. Please refer to street signage to identify approved parking areas. You are strictly prohibited from parking on the pavement infront of the studio. There is CCTV installed outside to monitor this and cars will be reported to the council should we see this happening.

    Please note that we cannot be held responsible for parking charges, fines, or any other penalties. Parking in undesignated spaces is at your own risk.

    Brentford studio: Visitors get 30 minutes free then any additional parking will need to be paid for via paybyphone using the unique site code that is on the signage out front. Please note that parking is entirely at the owner’s risk and Lounge Studios can accept no responsibility for loss or damage to any vehicle parked on site. There is also an underground carpark located next to the building before Novotel. Please park in the bays marked in a blue 'P' sign and scan the barcode on the wall to pay. We will NOT be held responsible if you are issued a penalty for not paying.

  • Studio bookings include up to 4 guests in total. There is an additional charge for bringing more people.

  • Yes! You can extend your booking (subject to availability).

    Please contact us during or before your booking if this is something you require.

  • A deposit is only required if you have more than 10 people in our studio spaces or if you will be booking an event in the space.

    This refundable deposit will be returned to you within 7 days, provided there is no damage to the space after your booking.

  • Please note that all start and end times include setup and break down time. Any late check-outs will be charged a full £50 per hour!

    Please note the backdrops will need to be installed by yourselves should you choose it add it to your booking.

  • Due to high demand, we cannot refund, cancel or reschedule bookings made on weekends. For weekdays, refunds won't be issued for cancellations or rescheduling made less than 48 hours before your booking.

  • Yes we have an in-house photographer you can add to your booking! Please see here for more details.

  • Can I shoot fashion, lingerie, swimwear or boudoir at Lounge Studios?
    As long as it is standard commercial work and we host it regularly. We ask that you tell us at the point of booking so we can make sure you're in the right space, and window coverings must stay closed for the duration of the shoot.

    Do you allow adult content?
    No. We don't permit pornographic or sexually explicit content of any kind, including content produced for adult subscription or webcam platforms. Bookings found to be in breach end immediately without refund.

    Why do you ask what I'm shooting?
    Two reasons — it helps us put you in the right studio with the right kit, and some shoot types need window coverings closed or advance approval. It takes ten seconds at checkout and it saves problems on the day.

    Are the studios private? Can people see in from the street?
    Yes, they're private. Both studios have blinds and screening on street-facing glazing. For evening bookings and for any shoot involving intimate apparel, coverings stay closed throughout.

    Can I bring a child to a shoot?
    Children are welcome when accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times, but they can't be present at or appear in any shoot involving intimate apparel or nudity.

  • No. Bookings are personal to the person who made them, and the lead booker needs to be there for the whole session. If plans change, contact us and we'll move the booking rather than have someone else take your slot.
